What we do

Housing Market Group runs property marketplaces. Housing Market Ads is how businesses advertise inside them. That is a narrower job than a general advertising network does, and the narrowness is the point: because the inventory is real estate marketplaces, the audience can be described in the terms real estate actually uses — the market someone is searching, the type of property, the kind of transaction.

The platform is bought alongside search and social advertising rather than instead of them. Those channels do things this one does not, and a serious media plan for a property business usually has all three in it.

How we talk about it

Two numbers appear anywhere on this site: the size of the portal network, and the price. Both are approved figures held in one place in our codebase, and every page that shows them reads them from there.

You will not find an audience size, an impression volume, a click-through rate, a conversion rate or a case study here, because we have not published approved figures for them. We would rather a page said less than said something a customer could not hold us to. Advertising performance depends on the offer, the market, the creative, the landing page and the follow-up — so no lead, sale, approval or return is guaranteed, here or anywhere else on this site.
